Metro Vancouver has been called “the most Asian city outside Asia.”
That’s because roughly 40 per cent of Metro Vancouver residents are rooted in the giant continent. But what religions do such ethnic Asians follow, or not?
A fascinating study by the Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life gives a helpful perspective. Even though its large survey of Asians was done in the U.S., my experience covering diversity issues suggests its findings can be comfortably extrapolated to Canada and Metro Vancouver.
