In a jail setting where tempers can flare and tensions run high, religious services often soothe hostilities.

“I think it has a tremendous impact on the cooperation between inmates, on the attitudes of inmates, on helping, if you will, the tension that may be in a cell,” Warren County Jailer Jackie Strode said about the variety of religious services offered at the jail five days a week.
