From the neck down, Father Robert Reed is a traditional Catholic priest. But his 3-D glasses give his appearance a futuristic flair.

Reed, president of the CatholicTV Network in Watertown, pops up smiling in full clerical clothing all over CatholicTV.com, introducing the Rosary, the Vatican and the Pope himself “in 3-D,” using the campy voice of a circus barker. In person, he swaps 3-D glasses for black-framed Ray-Bans. He keeps the clerical garb.
