In some ways, today’s young people are more connected than ever. They can text and call each other any time of the day. They let each other know what they are doing, how they are feeling and what they are thinking with status updates and tweets. And in the midst of texting, tweeting and posting, they’re chatting online.
But this “psuedo-community” is not the real thing, said Justin Pate, youth minister at Smiths Grove Baptist Church.
