Courier-Journal: Two institutions, two views on homosexuality

When they were faced with challenges over homosexuality, two evangelical Christian institutions made opposite responses last week.

Belmont University, a historically Baptist school in Tennessee, announced it would not discriminate on the basis of sexual orientation, drawing dismay from officials in its former Southern Baptist affiliates and cheers from gay-rights advocates.
