Local churches are tapping strategies long used by businesses to gain loyalty and customers -- and it appears to be working.

The Grapevine-Southlake-Colleyville area has some of North Texas' largest houses of worship. They continue to expand even as the population growth that fueled the religious building boom in Northeast Tarrant County over the past two decades wanes.
