Sunday’s grand re-inauguration of the Hindu Temple of Kentucky — story and photos here — was a full experience for the senses.
Worshipers and priests wore a rainbow of colors, while their ears
were filled with murmurs of chants, shouts of praise and the sounding of
bells, conches and other instruments. People carried offerings of
various foods, spices and milk, and incense permeated the air. And they
gathered for a feast of Indian-style food afterward.
