Comedian Tracy Morgan spent much of last week on the remorse circuit
after catching serious heat for an anti-gay rant during a routine in Tennessee earlier this month.
He was sorry, he told anyone who'd listen. He meant no harm. And he set about to prove it. On Friday, he met with New York
youths who have been shunned by their families because of their
sexuality. Next week he plans to return to Tennessee to protest the
recently passed "Don't Say Gay" bill, which prohibits discussing
homosexuality in public schools before the ninth grade. I only wish I
was joking.
