WASHINGTON — Mitt Romney, a Morman, ran about even with his rival Newt Gingrich among white evangelical voters in his commanding victory in the Florida primary, the Pew Research Center said Wednesday.
Crunching data from exit polls, a day after the vote, it said Romney fared better among evangelicals in the Sunshine State than he did in previous primaries in Iowa and South Carolina.
