By the time Florida House members
approved a bill that will allow students to give inspirational messages
to their peers in school, supporters had given up saying "message" and
were talking about the benefits of prayer.
The House on Thursday passed the bill
88-27. It now goes to Gov. Rick Scott and would become law with his
signature. While support for the plan crossed party lines, the
Republican governor is expected to sign the legislation into law.
