Clergy who use New York City Housing Authority community centers are in
fear that they will be banned after receiving notice that their
agreements to use the spaces are being reviewed.
The notice comes on the heels of the city’s “victory” for the
schoolchildren a month ago, when the U.S. Supreme Court let stand a
ruling that upheld the city’s ban on religious worship services at
public schools on weekends.
