GARDEN GROVE, Calif. – The daughter of the Rev. Robert H. Schuller, founder of Southern California's Crystal Cathedral megachurch, on Sunday took the role of lead pastor in the church as her father moved into a new role as head of the church's board of directors.

Sheila Schuller Coleman took over the permanent role in the church where she has already been serving largely as leader in a tearful ceremony at a morning service.
