A car bomb exploded near a church in the Nigerian town of Kaduna on
Sunday in the deadliest attack in months, killing dozens and likely
dealing a fresh blow to peace talks between the government and
militants.
An explosives-packed car discharged on Easter morning
in front of the All Nations Christian Assembly Church in Nigeria's
north-central city of Kaduna, killing at least 38 people, the Associated
Press reported, citing witnesses and an emergency relief official. No
group immediately claimed responsibility for the attack, but it appears
consistent with the spate of car bombings by the militia Boko Haram.
