Maine Becomes Fifth State To Allow Gay Marriage
On Wednesday, May 6, Maine's governor signed a bill making same-sex marriage legal in the state. The governor of neighboring New Hampshire is now considering whether to sign a similar bill into law. Pew Research Center Survey: Public Takes Conservative Turn on Gun Control, Abortion
A recent survey by the Pew Research Center for the People & the Press finds that public attitudes on a pair of contentious national issues -- gun control and abortion -- have moved in a more conservative direction over the past year.
