Some Presbyterians see salvation by other faiths
Exploring the disagreement among Presbyterians about whether one must be a "follower of Jesus Christ" in order to be "saved," Associated Press writer Dylan Lovan cites the 2007 Pew Forum Religious Landscape Survey. The survey finds that 70% of Americans with a religious affiliation say that many religions can lead to eternal life.

Obama keeps faith as prayer breakfast criticised
Writing about President Obama's appearance at last week's National Prayer Breakfast in Washington, D.C., Irish Times reporter Lara Marlowe cites a 2008 Pew Forum public opinion poll that found that 72% of Americans say it is important that their president have "strong religious beliefs."
