JUNE 8 - THE WASHINGTON POST
An article about Mormons who are publicly reaching out to show support for members of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community cites a recent Pew Forum survey, Mormons in America. The survey found that two-thirds (66%) of Mormons describe themselves as politically conservative and three-quarters of Mormon registered voters (74%) are Republican or lean toward the Republican Party.
