Most Americans Say Lawmakers Should Be Religious
Midterm congressional elections are just around the corner. According to a recent survey by the Pew Research Center, 61% of Americans say it is important that members of Congress have strong religious beliefs; 34% say it is not important. Majorities across all major religious groups, except the religiously unaffiliated, agree that it is important for national lawmakers to have strong religious beliefs. Go to the full report » |
