Same-sex weddings to begin at Washington National Cathedral
The Washington Post reports that the Washington National Cathedral, the seat of the Episcopal Church, will begin hosting same-sex weddings. The article quotes David Masci, a senior researcher at the Pew Forum, who notes that many mainline Protestant denominations have experienced a lot of turmoil over the issue of same-sex marriage.
