The Future of Religion in America
A new survey conducted by the Pew Research Center for the People & the Press and Smithsonian magazine finds that nearly two-thirds (65%) of the American public expect religion to remain about as important in the U.S. in 2050 as it is today.
 
Public opinion about whether Jesus Christ will return to earth in the next 40 years is divided. Almost half (49%) of the public predicts that Jesus Christ will not return to earth in this period, while 41% say that he probably or definitely will.
