A new study from the Pew Research Center finds that young people today are confident, self-expressive, liberal, upbeat and receptive to new ideas and ways of living. This week on NPR's Talk of the Nation, Neal Conan interviewed Pew Forum senior researcher Greg Smith about the Forum's recent report, Religion Among the Millennials. The conversation focused on the large proportion of young Americans who believe in supernatural phenomena, such as miracles, despite being less likely to identify themselves as part of a particular religious tradition than previous generations.
