High Court Rules on Public Displays
On Feb. 25, the Supreme Court unanimously ruled that the city of Pleasant Grove, Utah, could choose to publicly display one religious monument and not to display another. The case, Pleasant Grove City v. Summum, arose after a small religious group called Summum was refused permission to place a religious monument in a public park - even though the park already has a Ten Commandments display.
