New York Times reporter Laurie Goodstein explores the findings of a new Pew Forum survey on how much the American public knows about religion. Pew Forum researchers found that even when other factors such as education are taken into account, atheists and agnostics, Jews and Mormons are still more knowledgeable about religion than other religious groups.
